Monitoring

You can also help us by keeping a record of grey and red squirrel sightings through our online monitoring system. We can use this information to make a map of the region showing the red and grey squirrel distributions.  To see our latest map, click here.

To help with monitoring red and grey squirrels, we need you to keep a record of how many of each you saw and when. Additional information on their location (even the grid reference if possible!), and their habitat is very useful.

You can upload and submit your information through our online monitoring system by clicking the Monitoring Form.

Volunteering

The R.S.P.P. are also looking to recruit volunteers  to trap and despatch grey squirrels from Northumberland, and we offer full training for anyone willing to help. For further information please contact the R.S.P.P. directly.
